The Polar Bear LS tee is made in a slightly heavier stretchy organic cotton quality, cut in a regular fit, with a dropped back hem to cover the kids’ back when squatting or playing on the ground. With flatlock seams throughout you don’t have to worry for chafing. With the polar bear chest print we want to raise awareness about the endangered bears. To make you think about what’s going on in the world instead of designing yet another pink cat print with a shiny tiara. Choose between a shirt with off white body and orange sleeves or completely off white shirt with off white sleeves.
95 % Organic Cotton, 5% elastane, Single jersey, 180g/m2

Chemical free dye for the polar bear chest print
Organic cotton material with 5% Elastane for better stability of the fabric and comfort.
Soft filament thread in the whole garment.
The Endangered Polar Bear
Polar bears live in the Arctic ice and feed on other animals that live in the area, such as seals, dead whales and walruses. Global warming causes the ice to melt and thus polar bear’s hunting grounds and living areas. The seals seek out other places and leave the polar bears hungry. Polar bears are in turn forced to swim mile long distances in search of a neighboring island or larger floes. The long distances means that polar bears drown because they do not have the energy to swim more than a few miles at a time. When they are lacking food their low energy level holds them back even more. If we can’t stop the globing warming, we need to give the polar bears swimming aid, or 2/3 of the population will be extinct by 2050.
